    Athena, the Greek Goddess of wisdom and reason, was often depicted with an owl at her side, that’s how the owl came to be associated with wisdom

    Why is it that when we exaggerate, we tend to use randomly selected numbers? (sometimes we even make up numbers)

     

    Examples —

    It was so crowded at the concert, there must have been at least 2 million people.

    I’ve told her at least 3000 times but she never listens.

    It’s so expensive, it cost a gazillion* dollars   (*how much is that exactly?)
